LJezzacotta (or DWezzacotta) meme!

Being obsessed with a) mezzacotta, the randomly generated webcomic that's (retroactively) been around since 9999999999999 BC, and b) nerdy math-related stuff, I thought of an idea for a LJ/DW meme that incorporates both! Back in July or so. Why didn't I post it until now? For that matter, I'm surprised I didn't think of this meme before July 2017.

Anyway...

1) Look at the mezzacotta strip from your birthdate:
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=1993-07-14

2) Look at the strip(s) from the day you joined LJ and/or DW and/or any other blogging site you use regularly - if you don't know when that is, you can go to your profile and find out (at least for LJ and DW):
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=2007-08-19 (LJ)
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=2017-05-13 (DW)

3) Optionally, also look at the strip(s) from any other dates that are significant to you!
I'll skip this step, though - while there are many other dates that are significant to me for whatever reason, I think I'll just use my birthdate and the dates I joined LJ/DW for this.

4) Put in the same dates from steps 1-3 again but with AD changed to BC. You can do this just by putting a minus sign before the year in the URL:
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-1993-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-2007-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-2017-05-13

5) Put in the dates from steps 1-4 again, but replace the years with the last two digits of them:
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=93-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=7-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=17-05-13 (...so is he going to show me or not? :) )
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-93-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-7-08-19 (A hair restorer on leeches?)
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-17-05-13 (I guess a penny isn't enough.)

6) Now take the dates from steps 1-3 and replace the year with your LJ and/or DW (and/or other blogging site) user ID! On LJ and DW at least, that's also on your profile.
(Any time I say to replace the year with a number that isn't a year like your user ID, do this for both BC and AD if the AD version exists [i.e. the number is between 1 and the current year]. If it doesn't - which it won't 99.9% of the time - then just use BC.)
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-13627499-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-13627499-08-19 (I'd say that's changing focus more than just "a bit". :P )
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-13627499-05-13 (Yes, I even combined my LJ user ID with the date I joined DW and vice versa. Because that makes a lot more sense than the strip I got by doing so!)
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-3192525-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-3192525-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-3192525-05-13 (The first panel of this one is the best part.)

7) Now take the dates from steps 1-3 and replace the year with your LJ/DW/whatever username(s), with underscores either removed or replaced with zeroes (or both), and letters replaced by numbers in the ways shown below.

(If your username is longer than 13 characters with and/or without removing underscores, do this for just the first and/or last 13 characters. So "username_2_long", for instance, can become username020lo, ername020long, and/or username2long - then replace the letters as follows.)

7A)

1=A=K=U
2=B=L=V
3=C=M=W
4=D=N=X
5=E=O=Y
6=F=P=Z
7=G=Q
8=H=R
9=I=S
0=J=T

http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-31001993-07-14 (Eliza apologizes in mine a lot apparently - there's this one and May 13, 2017 AD. :P )
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-31001993-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-31001993-05-13 (This one makes no sense but I like it :P )

7B) The same as 7A but starting from 0=A instead of 1=A:

0=A=K=U
1=B=L=V
2=C=M=W
3=D=N=X
4=E=O=Y
5=F=P=Z
6=G=Q
7=H=R
8=I=S
9=J=T

http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-20991993-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-20991993-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-20991993-05-13

7C) The same as 7A but skipping zero:

1=A=J=S
2=B=K=T
3=C=L=U
4=D=M=V
5=E=N=W
6=F=O=X
7=G=P=Y
8=H=Q=Z
9=I=R

http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-41221993-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-41221993-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-41221993-05-13 (LOL)

7D) The method I call "phone keypad style":

1=Q=Z
2=A=B=C
3=D=E=F
4=G=H=I
5=J=K=L
6=M=N=O
7=P=R=S
8=T=U=V
9=W=X=Y

http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-62881993-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-62881993-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-62881993-05-13

7E) A slightly different phone keypad method where Q=7 and Z=9 instead (leaving nothing mapping to 1 except for 1 itself, OR for this method only, you can replace underscores with 1 because didn't some cell phones have all punctuation on the 1 key?)
There isn't a Q, Z, or underscore in my username, though, so in my case that comes out to 62881993 BC again.

7F) Finally, this method based on the columns of the QWERTY keyboard layout:

1=Q=A=Z
2=W=S=X
3=E=D=C
4=R=F=V
5=T=G=B
6=Y=H=N
7=U=J=M
8=I=K
9=O=L
0=P

http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-71551993-07-14
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-71551993-08-19
http://mezzacotta.net/archive.php?date=-71551993-05-13

If any of these methods gives you an invalid date:
Year with leading zeroes - remove the leading zeroes.
Year is 0 - use 9999999999999 BC (13 nines), 1 BC, and/or 1 AD instead. Or, if this happens in step 5, replacing it with 100 BC/AD makes sense too.
February 29 in a year that doesn't have one - use February 28 and/or March 1 of that year instead.

That sounds like a math problem. :)

I had a feeling you'd either say that or be like "How about I put in a date with a bunch of 11s and/or 47s in it instead?" :)

Want me to do this one for you?

You didn't answer my question - do you want me to do this meme for you?

If I had to pick six words to describe myself, I would panic and ask someone for help because I am so downright random and weird that there is no possible way to describe myself or my journal in only six words.

So here's a list of things you'll probably see in this journal, in no particular order:
- Posts about my life
- Posts about my worrying about being disliked for any number of reasons
- Posts about the fact that I'm trying to fix all the things that are messed up in my LJ and DW and catch up on lots of websites that I'm behind on reading
- Backups of my posts on Miiverse now that Miiverse is discontinued... so if you want to know what some random guy was saying about New Super Mario Bros. U or Nintendo Land five years ago, this is the journal for you :P
- Quizzes and surveys and such
- References to random things I'm obsessed with
- Whatever else I feel like posting

Some of the random things I'm obsessed with are:
- LiveJournal (obviously)
- Looking back at things that were made years ago... old posts on LJ, etc.
- Math
- Weird dreams
- Video games (mostly Mario, Super Smash Bros., Kid Icarus, and Chip's Challenge)
- Video game music
- Homestar Runner
- Enya, my favorite singer and biggest celebrity crush
- Too many comics/webcomics to name... Garfield, mezzacotta, Terror Island, and Circle Versus Square might be the ones I'm the MOST obsessed with though. Oh, and Super Mario Maker Crash Course - that counts as a comic, right? It certainly counts as something I'm obsessed with :P
- Speaking of Super Mario Maker Crash Course, my biggest *fictional* crush is Mary O. Yes, I have a crush on the guide to a video game MANUAL. I'm so weird...

For a (hopefully) complete list of interests and Q&A about me, visit my profile. :) (Which is still in need of an update...)

This journal is semi-friends-only, but there's not much rhyme or reason to which entries are public and which ones aren't...
