Homework Apocalypse Comet in orbit! @ 10:33 pm

Right now I am annoyingly: irritated WAY overwhelmed
Soundtrack: SMB-Castle, SMG-Speedy Comet, and SMG2-Final Battle all at once

Well, I managed to procrastinate the remaining notes and outline for my research paper until tomorrow again, which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't due the day after that. I also have to write a college scholarship essay by next Monday, and even though it's due after my research paper is, I have to write it first because it's supposedly more important.

Two quizzes:

You Are a Blue M&M

You are an affable and likable person. You are a natural people-pleaser.

You change your mind constantly. Everything ends up sounding good to you.

You like to keep your options open, but your mind isn't muddled. You're a very clear thinker.

You love people, and you're an optimist about everyone you meet. Friendship is important to you.

How am I an optimist?

You Are a Newspaper

You enjoy order and structure. You don't like it when things change much from day to day.

You are primarily concerned with the present. You don't like to speculate about the future.

You are straightforward and honest. You pride yourself on being easy to read.

You are a people person. You wish you could connect with every single person in the world.

I actually find newspapers hard to read. Hard to read without making a mess of papers everywhere, that is. I also REALLY like speculating on the future, if my use of the word "apocalypse" in this entry's subject line is any indication.

All that Mario music at once? NICE! (this is my only Mario-related icon)

I was just thinking that you might like a look at my tags page - might take a while to load!

All that Mario music at once? NICE!

Whenever I have an essay or a research paper to write and/or way too much homework, I normally listen to various apocalyptic (or at least somewhat apocalyptic) music; that day, I had to write an essay AND the outline for a research paper in two days, so I had three apocalyptic songs playing at once :P In fact, I had seven or so playing at once yesterday due to still not having finished my outline. It took six hours, but luckily I finally finished it!

(this is my only Mario-related icon)

In addition to this one, I have:

Plus these non-Mario userpics that are drawn in Super Mario World style:

And Mario and Wario make cameo appearances in this userpic, plus it's on the Mushroomy Kingdom stage:

And did I mention the PrtSc Land-styled versions of-- I'll stop now.

I was just thinking that you might like a look at my tags page - might take a while to load!

Whoa, that is a LOT of tags! By the way, why is it that sometimes some of the tags on your entries seem to have nothing to do with the entry?

Nice userpics / icons! Interesting explanations, too!

That's because I want my tags on the entry page to be even when the number of lines are taken into account. Yes, I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive. Sometimes if I don't mention people by name, but I know who they are, their names get bunged into the tags!

Ah, that's cool. Is that why some of your entries say "This entry is allowed to have non-aligned tags"? How do you make it do that, anyway?

Yeah, that's why. I make it do that by making sure the lines are evenly justified.

I meant, how do you make it have "non-aligned tags"?

By NOT being OCDL about the tag lines being even! I told you it didn't make sense!

Ah, I thought that you were using some sort of LiveJournal feature that formats the tags differently than usual and it added "This entry is allowed to have non-aligned tags" to the entry whenever you used it.

As you can see, I misunderstand things very easily :P

Hahahahahaha! No, definitely not! I put that disclaimer in myself, so I'm not tempted to go back to the entry and waste a LOT of time trying to add a squillion tags to it!

Hehe - it happens!

That gave me an idea - maybe I should do something like that for the few friends-only entries I have so that I'm not tempted to add repost buttons to them!

That's probably a good idea! I like the differing text in your repost buttons, by the way!

You're welcome!

Or you can make a tag called "friends-only entries" or something, too.

That probably wouldn't remind me, though - I've already found that I don't always notice the lock symbols, so my reminder would have to be right there where the repost button would normally be.

Ah, it was just a suggestion. If it needs to be right there, then I can definitely understand!

I wonder what mine are? I will have to take them later, but we normally get the same answers.
