Hark! The pultiple angels sing!

Merry Christmas/Decemberween Eve⁻¹, everyone! I was going to post the presents I gave and received yesterday, but like the lame-o I am, I forgot some of the presents that I gave, so I had to ask pathvain_aelien before I could post.

← 2009 2011 →

Anyways, here is what I gave:

- a Patricia Cormwell book for Mom (I don't remember the title)
- a Hanson CD (Underneath) for P_A
- a Dresden Files book (Side Jobs) for Dad (EDIT: and Stephen)
- the same a Stephen King book (Blockade Billy) for both ellaina02 and Stephen
- Office Space "I believe you have my stapler" coffee mug for Nace
- John Deere coffee mug for my grandfather
- hugging turtle salt & pepper shakers for my stepgrandmother

Here's what I received:

- the "slightly shotgunned" Lappy 486 laptop skin
- extended Paid account time on LiveJournal
- 2 add-on LJ userpic packages, plus 1000 LJ Tokens that I bought a third one with. Now I get 112 userpics until Christmas Eve 2013, or if I need more, I can reduce the time I get and have up to 182 or 252 (another sign of Schrödinger's Enya?)! So far I've uploaded 23 new userpics, though I've only went through the non-animated ones so far and I still have more ideas for userpics.
- Kirby's Dream Land 2. I wonder if it's harder than Kirby's Dream Land or Kirby's Adventure?
- Under Armour two sizes too small (for deep pressure)
- Calendars:
> Garfield "The Best Things in Life Are Edible" calendar
> Sbemail of the Month calendar
- DVDs:
> Enya video collection (which hilariously has "multiple viewing angles" misspelled as "pultiple viewing angels" on the case. I still love you even if you don't have spell check, Enya ;) )
> How to Train Your Dragon
> Toy Story 3
> Despicable Me (or as P_A calls it, Kitten Fingers)
- Autism self-help books:
> Social Skills for Teenagers and Adults with Asperger's Syndrome by Nancy Patrick
> Atypical: Life with Asperger's in 20⅓ Chapters by Jesse Saperstein
> Preparing for Life by Dr. Jed Baker
> Freaks, Geeks & Asperger Syndrome by Luke Jackson
- Mousepads:
> NASA logo
> "If at first you don't succeed, call it Version 1.0"
> "Geek In Training, Please Wait"
> "My software never has bugs. It just develops random features."
> Arizona
- CDs:
> Sarah McLachlan - Laws of Illusion
> Clannad (for those who don't know, the band Enya and Moya used to be in):
>> Beginnings: The Best of the Early Years
>> Magical Ring
> Moya:
>> An Irish Christmas
>> Signature
- cards & money:
> card from Stephen
> card & $20 from Aunt Betty Carol
- LOTS of candy!

Stephen also gave you userpics. Yay! Sounds like a good haul this year! And thanks for my new CD, I love it! I haven't watched the DVD yet but I bet I will love that too. And you only gave Blockade Billy to Amanda, you gave Side Jobs to Danny and Stephen.

You're welcome! :)

And you only gave Blockade Billy to Amanda, you gave Side Jobs to Danny and Stephen.

I knew I gave two people the same thing, but I didn't know who or what. Thanks for the correction!

I'm depressed. Because the world is ending and there has not been ANY proof that things will ever get better. I'm unable to think about anything except the fact that the world is ending, no matter how hard I try

I hate, hate, hate, HATE the term "social distancing". And being reminded of the coronavirus in any other way.

That's my entire personality now. And it will be until our world is back to normal.

Please read this entry before you comment on ANY entry in my journal about the coronavirus: https://matt1993.livejournal.com/373852.html

They probably won't be mandatory forever, but you still have to wear them.

I thought I told you that I DO wear a mask whenever I am required to or am told to. Why are you acting like I don't?…

Looking back at the Spanish Flu pandemic, it obviously wasn't like that forever. I don't know if people had problems with being able to adjust.

well before the pandemic, youre supposed to wash your hands before you eat, and after youve been to the toilet. Or if youve got something on your hands. Thats all.

Even before this pandemic I've tried to wash my hands whenever I needed to - but I've never been sure if I'm doing so well enough or often enough. :(

but this is now our new normal.

As I said to arcadia30 above, I'm tired of hearing "new normal" because it implies that it will be like this forever and/or that I'm a bad person for being unable to…
