Subject Line 3: Revenge of the Lack of Subject Line Creativity @ 03:51 pm

So it turns out my mom completely forgot that there was an orthodontist appointment today, and she'll have to reschedule it. Which means I got to sleep in a little longer! Yay!

Also, my first HAS assignment has been graded now. Surprisingly, I did better than the essay than I did on the math problem. This is a sure sign of the apocalypse, everyone.

Rigged quiz of the day:

You Are Fettuccine Alfredo

Compared to most people, you have rich and decadent tastes.

If you can afford something, you'll go ahead and indulge yourself.

You are a true foodie. No food is off the table for you.

You're the type most likely to appreciate every aspect of a five star meal.

No, I'm definitely macaroni & cheese.

HOoray for better essay than math problem. That has to be a relief. And as for the quiz - I think you're definitely macaroni and cheese! : )

It worries me, though, because it may mean I'm getting worse at math. :(

NAH! Maybe it's just a hard problem - there was only one , right?

Well, only one, but there were two parts, and the last part kinda confused me because it had the formula f = ma where f is force, m is mass, and a is acceleration, and both the force and the mass were given with pounds as the unit, which wouldn't make sense because the formula would make a have no unit at all, even though acceleration does have a unit.

But even then, I'd expect the essay to get the same score as the math, not a better score.

And on the SAT, my math score went down but my reading score went up... coincidence?

Did it go down quite a bit or just a little? I think it's good that your reading score is improving. You're still really good at math right?

I dunno how much it went down - Mom just said it went down, that's all.

And I am still really good at math - I probably was just confused on the HAS math problem and tired on the SAT.

As I said to xlormplover:

"the last part kinda confused me because it had the formula f = ma where f is force, m is mass, and a is acceleration, and both the force and the mass were given with pounds as the unit, which wouldn't make sense because the formula would make a have no unit at all, even though acceleration does have a unit."
